SAFETY RECALL
Hopefully everybody recieved their letters from ford about a safety recall. If not here it goes.....
Ford has found a defect in certain 97-03 vehicles with the 7.3.
The camshaft position sensor located on the engine of your vehicle may function intermittently, possibly resulting in an engine stall. In the event of an engine stall a crash could result without warning.
Ok. guys if you didn't get a letter call ford! they will inspect it and fix it for FREE. You have to go to an authorized service provider and tell them it is for recall 07S57 and give them your vin and they should set up an appointment.
Hey I hope this helps some of you, I know everybody did not buy their 7.3's from a dealer so you may not get recall notices and that doesn't matter! It's still a ford and they have to cover it, so get it checked out. Im getting mine checked on monday.
