on my truck its doing the exact same thing that you are describing. and on mine ive found that my lower shock bushings were shot. so im in need of replacing the shocks. you might want to grab the bottom half of your shock and see if it will move up and down on the bolt. and if so. you can get off-road bushings to just press in the shock or buy new shocks. and lower shock bolts
