Biodiesel can be used in any diesel engine in any concentration from B5 to B100. However, if you're going to use it you need to look at the source. If you're buying B5, B10, B20, etc...from the pump or doing the mixing yourself with B100 from a distributor you have nothing to worry about. However, if you're getting your biodiesel from a home brewer, you'll want to make sure that the fuel is being made properly and that the batches are uniformly tested to be sure that the fuel meets commercial standards. If it's not, you could be in for a world of problems. Now, let's say you're going down the road and an injector craps out for some reason totally unrelated to biodiesel-if you take the truck to Ford and they determine that you were using biodiesel at the time they'll just void your warranty plain and simple. So are you taking a risk by using more than B5? Yes. However, with fuel prices the way they are, its a risk I gladly take, well, sort of, since my truck has 106K on it
