It has 4 cables on it; from the peddle to about the trans cross member, from the trans cross member to just in front of the spring hanger, and from that point one to each wheel.

If the peddle went to the floor odds are it's the front one, at the peddle it's self. First thing you need to do is find the broken point so you get the piece you need to fix it.

The peddle is held in with 3 bolts, drop it down and look from the back side to see if thats the broken point. Thats my bet, I used to replace that one every 3 months on a 99 F550 wrecker I had. I put a micro lock on it when the warranty ran out and I had to replace it myself.
