I have noticed several times in the past six months or so that the truck will act like the batteries are not that strong when I go out and start it up, but this has occured when the weather was warm also. Could the batteries be weak/bad and with the cold weather (for Florida) I just need to get new ones? My 01 250 SD didn't give me this much problem in the 5yrs I had it.
it very well could be the batteries......they should be charged and tested. Just because they have the voltage to run the radio doesnt mean they have enough cold cranking amps to actually start the truck....

also make sure to have your Altenator tested because an under or over charging altenator can take batteries out. One bad battery could cause the other one to fail as well. If one of the batteries has a bad cell it could be causing your whole problem...
