My Dyno Run

Ok so I got my truck up on the rollers today. Thanks to DozerRN for getting that together. I had a great time and Got to meet alot of new people. To bad most all have chevys.

Anyways, so as I told you I would post up my numbers. I don't have the dyno print off sheet. Although I highly doubt any of you will think I am lying.

My truck just to refresh your memory. Tymar intake, 4 inch straightpipe exhaust, gauges, trans, and ts-6pos chip. Ok call me an idiot I forgot to put my chip in the 140 setting. Maybe they should have put a ricer next to me to remind me. Anyways the numbers are after numerous tries to get a rpm reading are the following

TS 6 in 100hp setting is 244rwhp, with 442 ft lbs of torq. I know not very big. Should have been better but again that was only in the 100 setting. I highly doubt even in my 140 setting I would have broke more then 310.

Now the dyno was a Mustang dyno, the guys running it well it was there first real experince running diesels on it. I think the biggest numbers were a Duramax pushing 816rwhp I didn't get his torq though. A few people there said the dyno was reading low. I do not know because this was my first run so I have nothing to compare it too.

But I do know that they were having problems with rpm readings cutting out. As well no way to manually lock the trans into a gear. I ran in second gear on the shifter. My truck would shift once and then it was wot.

Now my goal is to hit 400. I think 400 in a dd truck is very reasonable and no need to go over that in a dd. So how to get there. I think this is the plan, new injectors hmmm maybe the hybrid mini me's. As well as a different turbo. Don't know which one. Maybe a ballbearing turbo, don't which brand either. Diffenately getting different tunes for my chip.

Let me hear your feed back.
