i say that because maybe Banks will re-emburse you for the repairs since they claim their product does not void any warranty and apparently it does at least according to FoMoCo. I really hate it that ford would not pay. there are only two ways i can think of the crank would have failed like that. a defect in the steel when it was forged or an injector took a huge dump filling the cylinder full of fuel and hydro locking the cylinder but instead in broke the crank but usually it will break the piston and rings first unless it was a combination of both. i dont think a chip would cause and injector to fail. let us know what Banks says.
