I plugged my red line to the waste gate about a week ago. Seemed like my truck ran better and as stupid as it sounds my truck has less injector noise. I figured I was dreaming so I hooked it back up and the diesel noise got louder again. Seems like there would be no connection between the noise and the waste gate???? Would something else be wrong. It has been below 10 degrees here and when the waste gate line is plugged the truck is not as loud. When it is hooked up the truck sounds like a real cold diesel should.
