My thoughts

Why would this problem show up now ?
I had no problem before the transmission went south !
As for fuel mileage , pulling a 6,000 lb. trailer most of the time I was getting 9.9 mpg after I installed the " Super Chip " it went up to 15 mpg , lot more power and torque and seemed to shift properly for the first time when I run the cruise control pulling, not bad and everything was working fine for about 3 months , my truck has about 159,000 miles !
The Super Chip removes the factory data and gives 3 choices of programs to install , it was my and my transmission shops belief that this would equal or surpass and factory up grade !
So I would think maybe the wiring might be the problem, they also mentioned a $150 part that might be the problem ! can't remember what it was , if I don't have it on paper these days it is gone

I must say I am disappointed if wiring is the problem , being Canadian and spending 14 years working for Dana in Canada and knowing for a fact our tolerances are set closer , our production & quality expectations are also set higher then in the USA and all this for less money and Canadian money at that , that is why Canada wins these contracts , how ever I also know that Dana now farms out a lot of its production to china , Mexico and other country's so the parts quality is not there , I remember seeing bearings coming in from Taiwan being put in boxes and sent on to Ford ,GM, etc. and the box saying made in the USA , they where not lying the box was made in the USA my 2 cents

Seems the harder I try to live " The simple life " the more complicated it becomes
Thanks for your input, You can be sure we will put everything you have advised to the test and I will post our findings
