7.3 vs 6.6
Ive been looking into some mods for my dads 05 d-max. And there is alot of talk back and forth in the gm group about if there is any benefit for CAI systems on there trucks. The claim is the factory intake moves enough air for up to 450hp or more and a cai is a waste of money. I believe are 7.3s benefit from CAI but is there that much of a difference between the two trucks and is there any tests we can look at for are 7.3. The 6.6 forums have alot of information on this. theres no dought im going to change mine but i was just wondering what the orgs take on this is. Thanks
