If it is in French and English you can bet it came from Canada - I have found by talking to a number of injections shops that the Canada built trucks have a problem with fuel mileage from the start. Mine came from Canada also and was getting 11 mpg no matter what I did. I found that the wire harness splices are poor connections and it does funny things to the way it runs. Do you have a freind or a good mechanic with some patience? You need to test the outputs to all the sensors, it is a 5-volt steady current from the PCM. Unless you have a good wireing diagram and understand what you are doing don't try and test it yourself. The IDM puts out over 100 volts and will fry your what ever. You being what-ever. The transmission torque converter will unlock if it believes the BOO switch is touched or if the TR switch gives the wrong signal. The MAP sensor tells the PCM what the load is and if it lies to the PCM it can make it unlock also. Mine had the MAP sensor problem and I doubled the mileage when I fixed it. Are you good with electricity or do you know someone who is? Let me know Mike OB
