Just wanted to introduce myself and hopefully get some advice. Names Bob and I live in BFE Nevada and work at FF/Paramedic. Last year I purchased my first PSD, an 01 F350 7.3L Lariat and so far its been great. It already has a Banks turbo back 4" straight pipe, but no other mods. I have to admit that I don't know **** about mechanical stuff other than changing fluids and filters. Give me a hammer and nails and we're talkin. However, now I have a real truck and want to get started on some mods. Since my B-day is next week I am going to buy my truck some presents. Maybe $500 to spend. Any suggestions on what to buy first? Things that a novice can install that will be useful. I am not a mechanical idiot, but I am not ready to rebuild a tranny an time soon. I have been reading about gauges and Zoodads and intakes but am kind of lost. Thanks for any advice you can give. This forum is pretty awesome. Glad you guys are out there.
