Ok, well this is one of the stupid questions that gets asked once in awhile. I think its in my head, but because of all the noise my truck makes with the Afe filter/intake and the straight piped exhaust, its had to tell. I can only head it when on the gas (fuel) and accelerating slowly or just normal driving. Sounds like a pecking or tapping sound and when I let off the pedal it stops. This is all at normal operating temps and for some reason I just started to notice it the last few weeks. I did start using Diesel Kleen and that’s what I thought did it. Or maybe its always been there and like I said I am making it up. Anyone else hear anything like this?
