The aftermarket tires I have on my truck are rated at 50 PSI. The Stock tires were rated at 65 PSI in the front and 80 PSI in the rear according to the sticker on the door jam. For the short period I ran the truck with stock tires at the indicated pressure I never had the low pressure light come on. As soon as I changed to the aftermarket tires rated at 50 PSI, I can't get the low pressure light to go off, and I also used the tool that comes with the truck to perform the relearn procedure. From what I have read and have been told, the relearn procedure is only performed to get the front/rear tire orientation correct after a tire rotation. In my situation with 50PSI rated tires the relearn procedure will not keep the low pressure light from coming on.
