DIY intake question.

I think I am going to do the DIY/TYMAR intake on my truck. I am an electrician and as such, I have access to 4" EMT (electrical metallic tubing). This is the pipe we electricians use to pull wire through in commercial installations. The pipe is 4" inside diameter or about 4 1/4" outside diameter. I could even bend a 45 degree bend on it if it were to benefit me. Does the short piece of pipe that joins the intake baffle and filter have to be 4" outside diameter or will my stuff work? Also, is there a link or something that shows what filter catalog number I need for the DIY? I know about the NAPA 6637 but what are some others that will work? I am going to try and find it locally and I know of a couple companies that deal with Baldwin, Donaldson etc.

Thanks guys. This site has been of great help thus far.
