Ok well had duty today so could't get anything done, but when you go to install your pyro the metal banding must be on top of the probe to hold it into the pipe, when you get it the package (if from Diesel Manor) you will have to take out the set screw, slide off the collar and the bushing (looks like valve packing), then slide the metal banding back up the thermo, put the collar back on to the shaft and tightin it down with the set screw then keep track of the bushing until its ready to be installed.
