Ok we didn't finish today cause my buddy who was helpin got in trouble with the wife, long story short this SMOKIN bombshell (brown hair, big jugs, nice legs, walked by us in a turtle neck sweater, a black leather mini skirt, and knee high boots) well we turned and looked, and started talking about her, well his wife walked up behind us and busted us and almost killed him. But this is what we got done:

took off the factory pillar , drilled the holes for the wireing, hooked up all the wire (plug and play pretty much) put the pillar back on with the gauge pillar bolted em together, ran the cables down the side. We tried first to put the gauge light power cord (red) to the fuse box on the passenger side. We tied it into the cluster fuse, thinkin when the cluster is on the headlights are on so when its off the gauge lights will turn off; didn't work always got power even when truck off and doors open. Same thing when we tapped it into the headlight fuses. Then i had the idea, I paid for these up fitter switches lets use em! So we spliced them into the Aux One switch. (yellow wire left side of the steering collum, will be labeled with a piece of tape) now the only thing is I have to manually flip the switch when i want the gauge lights on, which for me works out better cause I like to drive completely blacked out in the cabin at night. Heres a little picture summary. Ill tap everything in to its componets later this week.

Factory pillar removed, along with the weather stripping.

The red cable runs up from under the weather stripping and is spliced into the yellow wire for up fitter switch #1:

Up fitter has the power and the gauges are luminated:

im thinking about removing the bulb covers to make them shine brighter.
