I was contacted by the dealer today and told they had to pull my transmission out of the truck to do an internal check. There was nothing externally wrong. They were getting bad ratio error messages (whatever that means). I went up to the dealership and they did provide me with a loaner which is an 08 F150 Crew Cab 4x4. I joked with the Service Manager and asked if they would give me a F250 Crew Cab 4x4 similar to my truck. He advised me that they did not have any F250s for loaners. They go through Enterprise Leasing and Rental which is located at the dealership. F150s are the only rental trucks they have. I still do not know what is wrong with my transmission. The dealer assures me they will fix the problem and I can use the loaner until my vehicle is fixed. I would hope so at only 7,100 miles on my 08 truck!!
