I run a Cobra 29 with twin 5' firesticks, and use both. It does just fine for me, and if I really want to get out there I have a "special box" too. (I do not recommend or condone use of linear amplifiers nor do I own one, as they are against FCC regulations.
) I have quite a few friends with CBs as well and everyone has a different opinion, be it Connex, Midland, Galaxy, ETC.
