Only way my truck would get 40 mpg is falling off a cliff or running Veggie Oil. I get 20 to 21 when I BABY it, norm as of late is about 18 to 19. I've noticed that my mpg's really start dropping off if the tach is frequently above 2100 rpms. At 3600 rpm I can actually SEE the fuel gauge moving...lol.
