I had this problem as well. Truck started acting like it was running out of fuel at 1/4 tank. I ended up dropping the tank and cleaning the pick up tube in the tank. The fuel screens in the pick up tube were nasty looking. Now my problem is gone. By the way I have 156,000 miles on my 2002 F-250.
