i read on the saeenergy site under the H Line Conversions about his plans to use an electric motor in one vehicle, in conjunction with a 4 cylinder isuzu diesel motor. the diesel is apparently there to recharge the electric motor batteries... The electric motor will produce 2,000 pounds of torque and propel the car 0-60 in less than five seconds. that seems mighty speedy to me. wow. and that's in an H3 hummer. and a neat pic in the gallery of a hummer crawling over the hood of an old station wagon.
