If it is an automatic from all the people that I have talked to plus the genus above (he knows everything about early 99s) the ecm with PMT1 or 2 will make your tranny shift so much better and I got mine off of car-parts.com for $115 shipped to my door and the PMT code ecm will have the best tuning. I put mine in last night and it made the world of difference.
