The one I got isn't an alarm but it does work your doors so that you only need one key fob. I actually looked into it just to get key fobs because I didn't have the Ford ones. When I saw the price it would have been crazy not to upgrade to the remote starter. I figured for another $75 bucks or so I would try it. I love it now and it hasn't even been that cold yet. I'm sure it will be even more appreciated when it is like zero degrees here.
