I found 6.0 cooler for $200. One of the trans shops quotes $320 and Ford want $500+. I understand from a friend who rebuilds transmissions for one of the local Ford dealers that every rebuilt/new trans comes with a new cooler. Techs don't put them in, instead they sell them on ebay etc. I had one of the force air (fan) coolers (derail) and sent it back to the company. I like the 31 passes that the 6.0 cooler has. The 6.0 litre cooler goes in the same place as the stock 7.3 cooler (that only has 9 passes). By the way the Derail only had 16 passes and half of them were behind the first 8. IMHO the stock 6.0 is the only way to go.
