Contact Randy's Ring and Pinion they have everything you will need and they are very helpful. Depending on what tire size you have or plan on 4:10 might not be enough. In order to find out what you have now, there should be a axle code on the door jamb, tell us what that is and I will look it up. There should also be a metal tag on one of the bolts for the diff cover, tell me the numbers that are on the tag.
As for doing the job yourself, this is not something I would attempt without somebody being there who knows what they are doing. You can chew up some expensive parts real quick. I paid $1,200 in labor for front and rear on my old truck. I used Superior Gears and Timken bearings, be sure to change all the bearings while you are in there, it doesn't cost much more, Randy's will have a complete kit.
Good Luck
