i was getting ready to pull my jeep to a wheeling trip and when i pulled into the driveway it sounded really rough... sounded like it was coming from the engine. but when i put it into gear, the noise when away for the most part...than when i actully drove forward or backward no noise execpt for idol in gear. it made the noise in park and nuetral. i just got this 99 f250 psd a week ago and they said when i got it the swaped a new 01 7.3 psd into it. could they have just not tightend down something or could it be like my mechanic said and a valve guide. or could it be something as simple as a loose wire.
