Yep... Just pull up the jacks an inch or so and then ease forward.... I also check the electrical connection by putting on the trailer brake from the controller... That will demonstrate for SURE that you are locked in...
By the way, my boss did that several years ago with no addition bedrail support... Had a "highly" customized bed after that
....
