I researched both before buying my 6.0 and have been working on the 7.3 since 96. What I said was a fact from Ford period. My ford dealer has stated that "MOST" of there head gasket failure is from higher tuned Modded" trucks! Just like anything else you have more hp you use it harder.
Hooked on phonics, weak comeback...considering I have proper spelling and grammar, and can read and interpret pretty well. Here's an example:
The general idea of what you said: The 6.0 is more powerful, so it's gonna have a higher rate of failure. It is "faster and has more horsepower" than the 7.3.
That's the picture you drew, and that is ludicrous to say of a factory tuned truck. It had issues to begin with, there is absolutely no doubting that. Even when chipped, it should have taken it without a high rate of major failures like the 7.3 did but as we all know a lot of them did not.
