Camping Journel! Give it a try.

Thought this might be a good idea. We will see how it goes. When you go camping somewhere put where ya went, what size camper, which site, what time of year, and what ya thought about it. Gives others a place to look and see where their next road trip will be.

For instance:

OCT 11-14 Cherrystone Family Campground Cheritan, VA Cherrystone Camping Resort
The whole month of October is Halloween here. Every sat. of the month is trick or treating and costume contest etc. It was fun, did a little decorating but no where near what it took to win the contest for sites. Some people went all out. This is probably the nicest campground i have ever been to. It is definitely worth the trip. We had site 186 and it was BIG. Had a 28ft fifth wheel on it. The campground has ALOT of sites. Probably 300-400 or so and it was completely full. On a funny note, in the am that we left, Sunday, i was packed up early so went to help my inlaws pack up. The guy next to them had a white and gold King Ranch 250 i think. When i pulled up the Boeing 747 under the hood came to life and woke the guys wife up. She came outside Beotching at me and then he came out wanting to know what i had done to my truck. Ran into a member or 2 from this site there. One was Rockcrusher it hink or something like that. Really nice guy. Nice ride as well. Campground was definitely owned by Powerstrokes! :-) We go here every year atleast a few times a year.

Set up in the dark AGAIN like at cherrystone. Campground was very HILLY. Lots of blocks under the tires to level out. Roads really skinny. Campground was ok but not very strict on their rules. They also had the trick or treat thing going on saturday afternoon but we were gone to Busch Gardens all day for Hallowscreem. Wow was that place packed. Campground was not packed though. Was pretty decent place. Had indoor pool. :-) Next time i will probably try the KOA though. Its closer to Busch Gardens as well and is really big. Probably wont stay here again.
