our local walmart here in northeast ohio still sells guns and ammo. Pricing has been jacked up pretty hard in the last year or 2 though...

Would be nice if they would sell them in the Wal Mart stores up here. They sell only ammo.

I wish ours had ammo. the department is there, and the shelves are still there, but the inventory is pretty lame.

I hear the ammo makers are in no hurry to fill Wal-Mart low bid orders now since they can't keep up with the demand from the places that pay better. They say what little Wal-Mart gets in here is sold as soon as it hits the racks and it’s been that way for months now. At one point there was not even a single box of .22lr to be found for sale in the whole state of Alaska and we can’t mail order ammo without an air cargo hazmat fee!
