Gun Site REALLY "helping" the 2nd??

So I won't post the link to the site since I feel they deserve to loose every bit of business they can. BUT I just asked to be removed from a mailing list for a gun sales site. They had a "deal' on a weapon but to qualify you had to meet the following qualifications:

As with all discounted pricing on www.xxxxxxx.com you will be required to provide your qualifying credentials, which include:
* Active Military personnel - all branches
* Retired Military personnel - all branches
* National Guard personnel - all branches
* Military Reserve personnel - all branches

* Fire Fighters - including volunteers
* Paramedics and EMTs

* TSA Employees
* Commercial Pilots
* Federal Flight Deck Officers

* Court Judges
* District and Deputy District Attorneys

* All sworn Law Enforcement Officers - city, county, state, and federal
* All retired Law Enforcement Officers - city, county, state, and federal
* All Corrections Officers
* State Licensed Security Companies
How to Submit your Credentials:

Um ok..........here was my response:

Please remove me from your mailing list. Honestly I'm amazed that "* Commercial Pilots" qualify for your special prices but an honerably discharged combat veteran and long time CHL holder wouldn't. It seems to me restrictions imposed in such an off the wall fashion hurts us all as defenders of the 2nd Amendment.

Thank you,

I mean WTF?

I'm glad I have an XD instead of the S&W anyway. I too, won't be using them any longer.

i feel your pain. sometimes companies do stupid things to their customers. there is a gun shop in my area that i won't patron any more cuz of how they treated a few months back. as a result, they lost me as a customer and a few others. i work with someone who hunts, he doesn't even know this place exists and i won't be telling him any time soon.

No problem Dirk - I think I've actually bought from them before in years past. I wont' make that mistake again. I was PISSED when I saw that a "Commercial Pilot" can receive the discount but I couldn't. They make it seem like they are catering to military, police, first responders or any law enforcement agency.

I place MONEY there are more honorably discharged combat veterans in the US, who decided to do their time, go to war, get out instead of becoming a lifer and earned their damn combat patch - than there are commercial pilots who have ever even been in a military uniform.
You can bet I'll post any response they may have Craig.

Should list all members of the Unorganized Militia as described in the USC. That would be all of us men and some women, depending on the State!
