As opposed to a unit that runs on clutches?. Concider that an automatic transmission runs on clutches, a standard does not. A standard uses a clutch to engage, and what part do you replace most on a standard trans.... Its the same theory. The clutches used in virtually every other limited slip differerential wear out. Plus most require a friction modifier to work properly. The Tru-Trac does not.
