Question on your oil drain/crank over engine post... it sounds like you drain the oil out of the crankcase first, drain the filter, reinstall the filter, then only add one quart of oil, and then crank it over? Doesn't this leave the crankcase, and thus, your oil pump, with out any oil? Is one quart enough to submerge the oil pump pick up tube? It would seem to me you run the risk of cranking the motor over without enough oil... what are the damage risks?
I dont doubt your ways, you seem to be one of the more knowlageable ones here, and I figure you have a good reason for the methods you choose... just wanted to check some details before I did the same... thanks!
