Id throw and extra strap on the front of the boat, or in your tool box, I have hauled many boats, and ran into the trip from hell, lost the trailer, which inturn bent an axle, which then siezed a bearing, which then popped 3 tires, while I limped it from NYC to OH. All because of those STUPID hitches that you have to screw down, I wont ever use those again!
