I changed my oil about 3 weeks and 600 miles ago using Rotella 5W-40 synthetic and a PureOne filter. Advance Auto parts sells the PureOne filter; you have to ask for it where I live because they do not display it on the shelf. They had a sale where I paid $5.00 each (I bought 3). So far, so good.
