Look at the intake pleniums. That is the orange boot where the intake "Y" goes into the heads. If they are 3" it is a late99-03. If they are 2" it is an early99. You can also tell if you can only put your hand flat over the turbo it is a late99-03, if you can put your fist up there it is an early99.
The block could the an 03 and the accessories could be from the early99. If it is an 03,you got took. That means you have PMR's and not forged rods.
