New EBP and Tube are installed!

Ok, I checked my EBP sensor and tube...they were both shot. The tube was busted in two and the sensor and remaining portion of the tube still hooked to it were packed clear full of soot. My truck only has 106,000 on it and my stuff was roached so I'd guess this would be something you would want to remove and clean about every 30,000 miles. The new sensor was 147 bucks and the tube was 51 dollars.

Now to the good part. WOW does my truck run better! It's never been more quiet and smooth running. I'm hoping to see some mileage increases this next tank.

Also, in the directions on Guzzles page, here are some modifications. Take the passenger front tire off, you'll be able to reach the manifold connection MUCH easier (reach in next to the shock absorber) than by trying to do it from under the truck. Also, take off the serpentine belt, it's easier to reach the sensor and the top connection of the tube. If you can find a small (1/4") diameter wire brush to hook to your drill that'd come in handy for cleaning out the passage were the sensor hooks into the tube up top. And don't forget to use never-seize. My manifold connection was clean, the soot hadn't worked it's way down that far yet.

Overall this was a VERY worthwhile maintenance item, my truck is running the best since I've owned it now. Thanks to those who alerted me to this!
