You can install a manual switch that will over ride the computer / get a wireing diagram and find the return wire from the converter - splice into it and bring the spliced wire up to the dash - put it on a toggle switch and ground the other terminal of the switch. When the switch is closed the converter will be locked - note: a locked converter will kill the engine at idle. Mike OB
