Blocks work, but are not as good as springs, IMO. Blocks will help contribute to axle wrap, and bump steer. They move the axle further away from the center of the spring adding leverage when torque is applied to the wheels, forcing the spring to twist. (ever gun it in the sand, and the axle bounces? thats axle wrap, and blocks will make it worse)
