Course if all you care about is power and just want the Ford truck and have money, you could just buy a Ford truck w/o engine and drop a built 12v Cummins in there...build the tranny, the injection pump, twin turbo it...and you'd have a 1000 hp Fummins.
It can be done. Hell, the best toy I've seen yet was in the latest issue of Diesel Power...it was a built 6.0 dropped into a CJ7 Jeep...you can find it on YouTube. Man that things was totally *its. That's power-to-weight ratio gone insane. That's what I'd do if I had money to play with.
