Are you talking about a panhard or trac bar? If so, I dont believe you need to add one for this small amount of lift. You will need to get an alignment, as the steering geometry is what changes, not the position of the axle under the truck. Trac bars are used more commonly for coil sprung, 3 or 4 link suspensions, not leaf sprung vehicles.
