Dieselcrawler, that was the info I was looking for. I guess thats why the guy told me to drill my holes 9" center to center. My stock shackles are 5" center to center. I tried to install my new shackle after work thinking it would only take an hour or so.... wrong. I got one stock shackle off but could not get the new longer one on. I had the frame supported and tried to push the spring down to bolt it on but it just wouldn't go so I had to give it up and put the stock shackle back on to try again someother time. It seemed like it would be real easy but I guess I need a small jack to jack the sprink down to the new hole location. Any other ideas are welcome.
