Code p0344
I have an '03 7.3 f250 and today driving home the truck shut off slowing down to a traffic light but crank right back up. the check engine light came on, so i pilled the codes and it was P0344(Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Intermittent - bank 1/1 Sens). I have another CPS, but is this something where I should go ahead and change it or wait until it goes all the way bad?
I am going out of town this weekend and if it needs to be replaced I would rather do it at home than on the road.
