So now I have 2 more questions, Would this mean my wastegate is adjusted wrong, and if so what is the proper way to adjust it? and Why wouldn't everyone just disconnect that line and run it like that? What are the downsides? You guys have been a big help, I had almost already resigned myself to a new turbo (Not that a new turbo would have been a bad thing. ) Let me know what you all think.

The red line you disconnected is the pressure line from your waste gate solenoid. It is computer controlled by pressure differential in your intake to open the wastegate to bleed boost pressure. You should be fine as long as you keep the psi 30 and below on the stock turbo.
