thats correct Brant. chop that section out, and the newer one piece head lights fit right in.

you will have to loosen the bumper at the corner right under each head light to get the bottom of the HL to fit in first.

you will also need to be an upgraded wiring harness to handle the extra power it takes to run the lights.

I ordered mine from bill at dfuser.com below is the description of the one i needed for my application. I also needed the hardware package to be able to fasten the HL at the top of the header panel.
