Buying advice

Buy a used one. And do not buy anything from Forest River. Workmanship is awfull. If you but a used, someone else has had to deal with the inept dealer. Anything warranty on a camper is avoided like the plague at just about any dealer. so it is easier to pay your own way. Same with dealing with an extended warranty. The warranty may pay, but you still have to deal with the dealer. I had two Fleetwood campers over the years, and I was very happy with both. Both were used when purchased, and gave years of good service. My brand new Sierra 375QBQ has been back twice to the dealer, and half the stuff they worked on is still not right. All of the issues came from the manufacturer, and all of it was missed by the dealer at PDI. Had to actually convince them the slides were not adjusted properly by showing them the drawers on the back wall could not be opened as the slide was too far in. They insisted it was my imagination up to that point. I am thinking about not even bothering to take back again. The warranty is of little value unless a major appliance fails, as anything else is accepted as "normal". Buy used, use the money you saved to fix any problems, and good luck finding a good place to get it fixed.
