Last Tuesday I was at a truckstop fueling and a duelly 08 F450 was there pulling a car transporter about 40 foot long. The driver told me that Ford had bought back his first 450 because of a rear end failure problem they somehow screwed up. I think he said he lived near Portland Oregon. He got the second truck and was telling me that the milage was abbisimal compared to the first truck. He also said the trailer GVW was totally within the nameplate ratings. Like you said these trucks are great when they are running good but when something goes wrong you are left out in left field for far longer than you should. I hope Ford starts to realize that we the customers are the ones that pay the bills. I hate to say it but a co-worker bought a Titan and he hasnt had anaything to complain about at all-- I still want to at least buy an american name-- I wonder if your differencial and my CC electronics were assembled in mexico or pakastan? Ford when will you start to listen?
