PS : I am very happy with the Sun Coast upgrades, I also have the MagHytek Pan. Just add a good Gauge first then if you run consistently above 200 and border 235 or 240 you will need a better cooler, but find out what you run prior to the change, and keep that ATF super clean for no worries
PSS: A recent article in a diesel mag stated that if the fluid in Our specific Trannys goes above 250F it must be changed to prevent poss transmission failure.
Yep, thanks for the reminder. I kept your original post as I educate myself as much as possible. I already have a big aftermarket tranny cooler on my truck and I run about 160-165 normally. Towing, I stay around 175, unless I'm pulling a big hill with switchbacks, traffic is going slow, etc. then I might reach 190-200. But that's rare. I guess that's good! So I have the gauge/sensor already there if I did the upgrades.

I'll let you know what happens!
