Dyno Conversation

Ok I have been talking to a local shop with a dyno. I been trying to find out what the cost is. They want 150 bucks for one hour and tell me it usually takes 1.5-2 hours to run a diesel on a dyno.

Then I get this in a response to one of my emails. I guess 6.0L are the only diesels ford makes. Can you say I am going to talk to other shops.

We don't typically "max out" 6L's because of the cylinder head gaskets,
bolts, and piston issues. We've never seen 140 hp out of a 6L - if you
want to try it, we can, but you're liable for all or any damages - not
us!

Uh I guess a 6.0L can not make 140hp even stock. If it does it may cause damage to the engine.

The real funny thing is I have a 2002 7.3L and I made that clear in my first email to this shop.
